Postponing Non-Essential Training Due to COVID-19
At NATT Safety Services, a division of TPS Group of Companies, Safety is always our number one priority and we want to ensure our employees and training participants remain healthy and safe. We have been taking appropriate measures to ensure our offices and training facilities are safe for everyone, however, due to significant and continued growth of COVID-19 in Ontario, we have decided to postpone all non-essential training activities.
On a positive note, we have come up with training alternatives due to social distancing and isolation from the public. We feel instructor lead training is the best deliverable approach, however these methods can be successful to prepare the Industrial, Mining and Commercial Workforce.
Alternative deliverable training will be offered via Skype, Conference call or Online.
Benefits to this alternative approach:
– Customers are receiving the necessary training to be qualified, re-certified or prepared to resume work
– Tests and participant certifications can be shared via email or fax
– Courses that require a practical component will be booked in advance (future tentative dates will be made available for customers)
– Eliminating transmission of germs and viruses
We will be in contact with customers the week of April 13th, 2020 with an update regarding future and anticipated training dates. Please keep in mind that this may change depending on the direction we receive from the Ministry in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic.
