Principles of Air Monitoring

Course Outline

Delivery: 4-6 hours

The Principles of Air Monitoring program gives you a better understanding of
atmospheric testing and the important role it plays in confined space entry.

NOTE: This session includes training on MSA Altair 5x air monitors (sensor
configuration: CO, O2, SO2, H2S and combustibles/LEL) but does NOT qualify you to
use any other air monitoring device for confined space testing; unless you have a
“record of training” for that specific piece of air monitoring equipment in addition to the
Confined Space Awareness training. Training on other types of units can be provided if
requested.
